Music & rights.
Your music remains yours. Please only publish recordings, lyrics and artwork that you are allowed to share.
What you confirm
You have the rights or permissions needed to upload and let the site store, display and stream the recording, its artwork and its lyrics. This includes any samples, remixes, cover recordings, photographs, voices and other material made by someone else. If you used an AI music or image tool, check that tool's terms for the way you intend to share the result.
What the site may do
While your song is published, you allow Music Hub to keep the uploaded files and show or stream the song, artwork, lyrics and credits to visitors as part of the service. You keep whatever ownership rights you have; uploading does not transfer ownership to Music Hub. You can remove a song from public view and restore it from My space; its files remain stored so restoration is possible. This local preview is only available on the site owner's computer, but the public version would make published songs available online.
Optional listener downloads
Downloads are off unless you choose to allow them for a song when uploading or editing it. Only signed-in listeners with downloads remaining can use Music Hub's download button. You can turn this permission off later to prevent new downloads, but files people have already saved cannot be recalled. Only enable downloads if you have the rights to permit copies of the recording.
If something is wrong
Use the Report button on a song to flag a rights or safety concern. The report is saved for review and can notify the site owner in a private Discord room. The owner may remove or restrict a reported upload while reviewing it. A public contact and takedown process still need to be added before launch.
Not sure you have permission?
Wait before publishing. Crediting someone is not the same as having permission to use their work. The UK Intellectual Property Office has guidance on using somebody else's copyrighted material.
